The halfway hut, under the oak by the 9th green
A morning round, from the gravel to the long table. Times are for a 10.40 start.
Arrive an hour before
Park on the gravel by the stable yard. The Secretary’s office is in the House, through the front door and first on the left, and green fees are settled there.
The changing rooms
Below the Long Room, with lockers, towels and showers. Shoes are changed here rather than in the car park.
On the first tee
Two-balls have priority, and a round takes a little over three hours. Telephones are on silent from the first tee to the eighteenth green.
The halfway hut
Under the oak beside the 9th green: coffee, a sausage roll, something cold on a warm day. Settle up in the hut as you go.
Lunch in the Long Room
Two courses at the long table, or the terrace when the weather allows. Afternoon groups lunch before they play, from 12 o’clock.

For groups of up to 32 players, Tuesday to Thursday from April to October, with a shotgun or two-tee start, lunch or dinner in the Long Room and the prize-giving on the terrace. The Secretary will plan the day with you.
